Vill man ta en liten lugn morgon mitt i stan för att läsa tidningen eller kanske en bok så är Palais Royal  ett alternativ. När jag var där på morgonen var det i inte speciellt mycket folk och det var alldeles tyst trotts att det ligger bara ett stenkast från Louvren. Det är bara att sätta sig på en stol eller parkbänk och njuta av morgonen.

 

 

 

Många känner nog igen kyrkan Sacre Coeur då den är en av Paris ikoner. Ett antal trappsteg upp i området Montmartre finner man en fin utsiktsplats över Paris. Men man ska inte nöja sig med utsikten utan det är väl värt att också gå in i kyrkan. Jag gillar denna plats på grund av att den ligger kvar i mitt minne från min första besök i Paris för ett antal år sedan, det är detta ställe som jag kommer ihåg mest och jag gillar det fortfarande starkt!

 

 

 

 

Det här stället fäste jag mig ordentligt vid när jag var i Paris. Hôtel des Invalides har en underbar liten trädgård där man kan sitta och titta på den fantastiska guldkupolen som pryder kyrkan där Napoleon har sin kista. Men om du är här kan du inte bara nöja dig med att sitta i trädgården och kanske får sällskap av några duvor. Du borde också besöka krigsmuseet. Det är antagligen pågrund av museet som jag fäste mig vid det här stället. Jag besökte den delen som visade första samt andra världskriget och det kändes så mycket mer verkligt för mig att befinna mig där. Den känslan satt kvar även när jag befann mig utanför och när jag sedan återvände och jag tror att det kändes väldigt viktigt för mig att bli påmind om vad som faktiskt har drabbat våran värld. Därför kunde jag sitta här i timmar.

 

 

 

 

Jardin des Plantes blev en favorit väldigt snabbt. Det är så ombonat på ett tevligt sätt och det finns lite av varje. Jag åt min lunch på en bänk här vid ett tillfälle när det duggregnade, träden i aleerna skyddade fint och det var så trevligt att komma undan en stund. De är helt enkelt inte bara imponerande trädgårdar utan bjuder på en fin liten promenad eller lunchpaus.
